What should be done when the readings are inaccurate or unstable with significant variations?
Please note the following points regarding CGM readings:
1) CGM monitors glucose levels in tissue fluid and capillary glucose levels in fingertip blood. The measurement areas are different.
There is a 5-10 minute delay in the flow of glucose from the blood to the tissue fluid, resulting in differences in device readings. Through CGM, it can mainly help understand the dynamic fluctuation trend of blood glucose and timely grasp the impact of different diets and lifestyle habits on blood glucose.
So, using CGM to measure interstitial fluid at the same time to compare fingertip blood glucose levels is not sufficient to represent the accuracy of dynamic blood glucose. The main function of CGM is to observe the dynamic changes of blood glucose, combined with the recording of fingertip blood, identify factors that affect blood glucose fluctuations, and grasp the impact of different diets and lifestyle habits on blood glucose.
You can try comparing after your blood sugar has stabilized.
2) Standard calibration and correct operating practices: Ensure that you have calibrated the system correctly:
Calibration should only be performed when glucose is stable.
Use the same blood glucose meter for calibration in the same CGM session.
Use the second drop of blood for calibration
Wash hands with soap before using the blood glucose meter.
3) The characteristics of CGM determine that there may be deviations on Day 1 or Day 2:
For factory calibration of CGM, there is a small wound where the device is worn, and the sensor and tissue fluid require a 12-48 hour adaptation process. When the wound is being repaired, white blood cells accumulate and consume surrounding glucose, so the readings on day 1 and day 2 will be lower than the BG value.
4) The glucose blood test results in the laboratory (YSI standard) are gold standard.
You can consult with your doctor to get to know and test your blood glucose levels, as the tests conducted by your doctor are considered more accurate than any product you use at home. Both the blood glucose meter and CGM are compared with the doctor's tests to measure the accuracy of clinical research. They did not compare with each other. Therefore, the sensor reading and BG instrument value are unlikely to be the same number.

Why does the application not accept calibration?
When the system is recovering, your blood sugar changes quickly, or during the warm-up phase, the system will not accept any calibration readings.
-For factory calibrated products, we do not recommend calibration within 48 hours before use.
Do not calibrate equipment unless there is a significant difference between the blood glucose meter and CGM readings.

What should I do if the adhesive backing of the sensor is curled and about to come off?
You can use other medical tape to fix it. Before using the sensor, please wipe and clean the area where the sensor is to be worn with alcohol, and do not wear it on tattoos or scars. If there is too much hair around, please shave off the surrounding area.

What should I do if the packaging of the front sensor is damaged before use?
Please do not use this sensor. The sensor has been sterilized and sealed in the packaging. You must use a sensor that has been sterilized and sealed in good packaging before use.

What should I do if the needle or sensor electrode comes out before use?
Please do not use this sensor and be careful not to scratch yourself. Take photos of the product, including the packaging label, and contact our service team according to the instructions.
What should I do if I bleed after wearing the sensor?
Please don't be nervous, check the amount of bleeding and check for pain.
-If the bleeding is not very severe: Check if the sensor is working after preheating and in the first three days, as bleeding may affect the performance in the first three days. Calibrate more times. Use medical cotton to stop bleeding and wipe off the bloodstains on the sensor base. If there is significant bleeding, please contact your doctor.
-If bleeding is severe: remove and wear the sensor in a new location
-If you are currently using anticoagulants (drugs) or other medications that may cause bleeding, please consult a doctor to see if you can continue using the product

What should I do if the wearing area feels itchy, allergic, or red?
We use low allergy risk tape to avoid allergies as much as possible, but the low allergy tape used in the product still contains acrylic acid. If the user is allergic to acrylic acid, please do not use it.
Allergies are also related to the immune system and physical condition. Please consult a doctor and check if you can use our product and any preventive measures you should take.
What should I do if the adhesion of the sensor is not sufficient?
You can use additional medical tape to cover the sensor base/adhesive patch.

Can I use CGM during MRI, CT scan, or thermotherapy treatment/examination?
You cannot wear CGM (sensor, transmitter) for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT) scans, or high-frequency electric heating (diathermy) treatment. In these cases, CGM may not function properly or be damaged. Magnetic fields and heat may damage components, leading to their failure. If there are no readings or alerts/alarm notifications, you may miss out on serious hypoglycemic or hyperglycemic events.

What are the storage conditions of CGM system?
For sensors:
Temperature: 2 ° C (36 ° F)~25 ° C (77 ° F)
Humidity: RH 15%~85%
launcher:
Temperature: 0 ℃ (32 ° F)~45 ℃ (113 ° F)
Humidity: RH10%~95%
If you believe that your storage conditions do not meet the above standards of 2 ° C (36 ° F)~25 ° C (77 ° F), you can place the sensor in the refrigerator (above 0 ° C), but do not place it in the freezer (below 0 ° C). However, in any case, do not place it in direct sunlight or for long periods of time in mailboxes and delivery boxes, as the temperature in summer can be high and damage the sensor performance.
