What preparations do I need to do before installing the Glunovo i3/p3 system?

o   The GN-I continuous glucose monitoring system needs to do the following preparations before installation:

o   Check whether the sensor package is damaged. If the package is damaged, it cannot be used.

o   Check the expiration date on the sensor package, and the sensor must be implanted before the expiration date

o   Wash your hands thoroughly and wait for it to dry, take out the sensor from the sterile packaging bag (do not discard the packaging bag temporarily), and check carefully to ensure that the sensor is intact

o   Wipe the bottom of the transmitter with alcohol cotton, then place the transmitter in a clean, dry area to air dry for 2-3 minutes

o   Select the part where the sensor is placed on the abdomen. It is recommended to select the part that is 5cm away from the navel and is not easily rubbed by the belt or seat belt.

o   Use alcohol cotton to clean the skin where the sensor is placed and dry it, otherwise the sensor may not be firmly attached to the application site
